Position Details

ClearBags is looking to add a Business Developer to our Sales team. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in sales, a passion for prospecting and the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of the products to potential customers.

This is an opportunity to execute the sales strategy for selling ClearBags products. You’ll enjoy collaborating in an environment focused on building each other up and being the best version of you possible.

A successful candidate for this role will have a motivated spirit with drive to solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will be able to work with confidence both within a team environment as well as independently.

We have a flexible work schedule for this role, which requires a minimum of 40% of the time at the headquarters in Collierville.

The posted salary range is approximate. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. The pay structure for this position is base + commission. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and individual drive to meet and exceed monthly goals.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop new business opportunities through research, phone calls, emails, social media, referral requests, etc.
  • Provide qualified leads to the internal Sales Account Managers
  • Stay up to date on market trends, competition and industry developments.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop industry-targeted campaigns
  • Recommend new products to the product development team
  • Provided ideas to the content team for videos, blogs, and website content
  • Attend trade shows and sell product face to face
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Achieve sales objectives and goals
  • Close business and oversee the transition of business into an Account Consultant industry.

Requirements

  • Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, curious, a proactive problem solver, detail oriented and has an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven success in selling flexible packaging solutions.
  • Track record of success in delivering to KPIs and sales targets.
  • Ability to develop new business and manage sales with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Ability to think creatively and problem solve.
  • Effective communication skills, and emotional intelligence.
  • Highly motivated and results driven.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, using a CRM (NetSuite preferred).
  • A positive attitude and desire to work in an environment where you can thrive.
  • 4-year degree in Business, Marketing or a similar field is strongly preferred.
